Who can attend the Expo? The short answer: Owners and employees of licensed food service and lodging establishments over the age of 18 are invited to attend the Expo. The Maine Restaurant & Lodging Expo is a private, business-to-business event hosted by the Maine Restaurant Association and the Maine Innkeepers Association. Industry professionals who either own, or are employed by, licensed food service and lodging business are invited to attend the Expo whether or not your business is a member of either aforementioned organization. Industry professionals that own or work for businesses that sell goods or services to food service and/or lodging business in Maine are invited to exhibit at the Expo are not eligible for general admittance. Due to strict insurance regulations, no one under the age of 18 will be admitted to the show. Restaurant members of the Maine Restaurant Association and lodging members of the Maine Innkeepers Association (sorry, not allied members) are eligible to receive two free passes to the Expo. Please refer to association communications for your discount code or call 207.623.2178 to arrange for your free tickets. Any attendee that registers in advance for the event through this website (rather than at the door - which is perfectly acceptable) benefits from a 33% ($5) discount. To protect the integrity of this business-to-business event, owners or employees of allied type businesses - defined as those that sell goods and services to licensed food service and lodging businesses will not permitted entry to the show unless their company has reserved exhibit space. This applies to allied members as well as non-member allied-type companies. |
